Keep Earbuds from falling out

A common question regarding the hard shell earbuds is "how do I keep my earphones in my ear". This is an issue whether you're exercising or just out for a walk, they just don't seem to want too stay in your ear. Did we mention they can be uncomfortable too!

How to keep your earphones in your ear?

Now, for the rest of us, tired of making a wild grab for our earbuds when they wiggle free - here are some reasonable solutions to this annoying problem.

If you want something with a little more of a "custom fit" without having to go to an audiologist for special fitting, try Moldable silicon attachment from PodFitKit

Thinking about purchasing a new set of earphones.

For those of you who can't wear those hard case, fall out of your ear earphones and want to purchase another set. Here are some important things to consider in your selection process:

  • Fit and comfort, chaffing earbuds that just don't fit.
  • Stay in your ear, nothing worse than constantly catching them as they fall out.
  • In ear, headphones, behind head etc. See categories
  • Soft buds or hard like those that came with your iPod.
  • Cable length, is it manageble.
  • Can you clean the earbuds.
  • Price, you want to work out with with earphones that cost you 200+ bucks? maybe something a little cheaper iPod earphones
