iPed 2 iPod stand - reader review

I think the iPed2 is a perfect solution for managing your iPod, cables and accessories while at your desk. The iPed2 makes a perfect place to store your iPod when it's not in use. Fewer scratches when your iPod is not sliding around and you'll always know where it is.
The iPed2 is made from a single piece of forged alloy steel with a powder hardcoat finish. The "foot" of the base is surfaced with non-skid rubber so it won't easily slide around or off your desk and is tall enough to be seen behind a stack of papers. The vise style grip can be adjusted to perfectly cradle any iPod model, including the iPod Mini (a separate version is available for the older iPod shuffle and new Nano). Because the width of the cradle is adjustable you never need to remove your case, it works fine with armor cases, fashion cases or even a trendy silicone skin. Adjustments are easily done with the included plastic spacer washers and a simple wrench. Simply unscrew one nut and adjust the width (using the included plastic spacers) to accomodate the width of your current favorite 'Pod. Put the nut back on, cover it with the black rubber cap and your "good to go.
The tilting cradle your iPod rests in makes for easy video viewing on your desktop a much appreciated feature for those who use their iPod for video.
The rubber gromet in the back of the base makes it easy to run your cable through reducing tangles and clutter.
For your money you get a well-built, entirely adjustable stand that holds most iPods and looks great too. With its quality construction and adaptability, the Ped2 will help those who really want to organize their desk, have easy access to their music and video.
